About unwrap
Unwrap is a place to build advent calendars for people you love. You fill each door with photos, songs, riddles, and a few words - and from the first of December (or any day you pick), the person you made it for gets to open one little surprise at a time.
How do the doors unlock?
Each door opens on its own day, starting from the calendar's start date. Door 1 opens on day one, door 2 the morning after, and so on. Locked doors stay hidden until their day comes.
Who can see my calendar?
Only people you share the private link with. The link is a long secret address - there is no public list of calendars, and nothing is shared without it. Locked doors never leave the server before their day, and you can swap to a fresh link at any time from the editor.
What can I put behind a door?
Each door is a postcard on a backdrop of your choice. Add a handwritten message, up to three photos, a song from Spotify, stamps from the sticker sheet, or a riddle with a reward for the right answer.
What are themes?
Themes decide how the finished calendar looks for the receiver. "Postage stamps" shows the doors as a clean photo grid; "On the line" hangs every door as a hand-drawn polaroid on a clothesline.
Does it cost anything?
No. Unwrap is a small labour of love, free to use for making someone's December a little warmer.
